About Hockey Victoria

Hockey Victoria (HV) Inc. is the peak governing body for the sport of hockey in Victoria. The association’s role is to service the 150 clubs and associations (85 Regional & 65 Metropolitan), and the 20,000 plus playing members. HV’s key service areas include club development, elite performance and athlete development, competitions & events management, game development, and membership services. The organisation strives to remain community relevant by constantly developing innovative programs and initiatives.

Hockey Victoria prides itself on being the family game; safe, welcoming and inclusive sport for all Victorian’s. This is achieved via its strong focus on the safe playing and spectator environments, and advocacy for Women’s sport, gender diversity and providing participation opportunities for people of CALD and Indigenous backgrounds, and people with a disability.

HC Melbourne Team Sponsorship

Hockey Victoria mange the Hockey Club Melbourne Men's & Women's teams that participate in the JDH Hockey One League. The teams are full of current and former Australian Hockey players, along with some of the countries brightest up and coming stars.

Unlike any other major competition in Australia, the Men's & Women's teams play consecutively for all fixtures. They are broadcast live and free on 7Plus, as well as on a number of platofms internationally.

HC Melbourne Player Sponsorship

Hockey Club Melburne offer a League leading player sponsorship program to support the Men's & Women's athletes in our squads.

There are multiple tiers of player sponsorship avaialble, with some wonderful inclusions.

Junior State Championships

With the Junior State Championships heading to regional Victoria in 2024, Hockey Victoria is offering some unique opportunities for businesses to not only sponsor the Event itself, but partner with Goublburn Valley Hockey Association or Hockey Central Victoria to support their Junior Programs.

The Event sees over 1000 junior hockey players come together from all corners of the state to battle it out for the title of State Champions and it is one of the biggest junior hockey Events in the country.

Zone & Club Junior Program Sponsorship

In 2024, Hockey Victoria is launching a unique opportunity for companies to not only sponsor a Zone participating in the Junior State Championships, but also become a club junior program sponsor too. This offers them exposre at club, Zone and state level.

The funds will be split amongst the club, the Zone and Hockey Victoria. The funds allocated to the Zone will be utilised to support families experiencing financial hardship or with multiple children participating in the Junior State Championships. So the sponsorship funds will play a very important role!

Hockey Victoria Premier League Naming Rights

The Hockey Victoria Men's & Women's Premier League are the highest level of competition in Victoria, with twelve teams competing across 22 rounds for both genders.
