HC Melbourne welcomes Indian power forward Shilanand Lakra

HC Melbourne is excited to announce the signing of Indian forward Shilanand Lakra for the upcoming Hockey One season in October. Lakra, a rising star with 28 appearances for the Indian national team since his debut in 2018, brings international experience to the HC Melbourne lineup.

Junior State Championship Wrap Up

The 2024 U12s, U14s and U16s JSC saw 61 teams travel to regional locations to showcase the incredible hockey talent in our Victorian Hockey Community.

Hockey Victoria (HV) and Hockey Club Melbourne (HCM) have partnered with VicHealth to support the UNCLOUD campaign through a range of our programs in the coming months. Commencing with this week’s Junior State Championships in regional Victoria, participants and spectators will get the first glimpse of the anti-vaping campaign. As part of the campaign, our community will see a range of activations on social media, websites, at key events and throughout venues.

Victorians selected in Paris Olympic Teams

Southern United Hockey Club product and Hockeyroo young gun, Amy Lawton has been named in the Olympic Team. In what is a huge moment for Lawton, the 22-year-old will line up at her second Olympic games in less than a month’s time in Paris.

HV Launch anti-racism campaign

Hockey Victoria are excited to launch their Anti-Racism media campaign in 2024. The campaign will be launched in July in the lead up to the Junior State Championships (JSC) which are being held in Bendigo and Shepparton this year.
