EOIs are now open for 2026 Officiating positions as 2026 HV Outdoor Events

If you are interested in an officiating position across one or all HV outdoor events, please complete the respective survey further below…

These survey forms cover the Junior Country Championships, Senior Country Championships, and the Junior State Championships. HV will require Umpires, Tournament Directors & Umpire Managers at all Events. In addition, Technical Officials are required for the Junior State Championships only.

Coaching and mentoring are provided to all Umpires and Technical Officials at the Events, so they provide a great opportunity for development!

When nominating, please ensure that you utilise the correct link as they are different for each officiating position.

Umpires EOIs

Expressions of interest are open for Umpires at all Outdoor events in 2025. Umpire payments across outdoor events will be $15 per match that they officiate.

Please note: The 2026 Senior Country Championships are held in Bendigo. This affects the Umpire panel if they wish to travel up to be involved in the event. More information on the Umpiring in Bendigo for the 2026 SCC can be found here.

All expressions of interest must be submitted by 5.00pm on Monday 30th March 2026 for the JCC & SCC and by 5.00pm on Wednesday 29th April 2026 for the JSC.

Technical Officials

Technical Officials roles are only required at the U14, U16, and U18 Junior State Championships. Please be aware of event dates above as to when these JSC age groups participate.

Technical Officials at the 2026 JSC will receive a payment of $15 per match that they officiate.

Tournament Directors & Umpire Managers EOIs

Expressions of interest for Tournament Director and Umpire Manager positions at the HV Outdoor Events in 2026 are now open. This includes the Junior Country Championships, Senior Country Championships and Junior State Championships.

When nominating, please ensure that you utilise the correct link as they are different for each position.

The expressions of interest for Umpires and Technical Officials for all relevant for all Outdoor Events will be open as well.

JUNIOR COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2026 Junior Country Championships will take place on Saturday 16^th to Sunday 17^th May, 2026.

*A Minimum of 1 x TD and 1 x ATD and 1 x UM and 1 x AUM will be appointed per venue, but ideally, we would like to be in a position to appoint a second ATD and AUM per venue.

SENIOR COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Senior Country Championships will take place from Saturday 6^th June to Monday 8^th June, 2026.

As the Senior Country Championships is hosted in Bendigo in 2026, there is some important information about travel and accommodation to be aware of. Please check out the link herefor details about TD, ATD, UM and AUMs at the 2026 SCC up in Bendigo.

JUNIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2026 Junior State Championships will remain in Metro Melbourne, hosted at SNHC Parkville and Footscray Hockey Centre. The Event will take place as follows:

U12 Hockey 5s JSC:

·        Wednesday, 1st & Thursday, 2nd July 2026 at Footscray Hockey Centre

U14 & U16 JSC:

·        Friday, 3rd July – Sunday, 5th July 2026 at State Netball Hockey Centre & Footscray Hockey Centre

U18 JSC:

·        Saturday, 19^th to Monday, 21^st September 2026 at State Netball Hockey Centre
