The main reason for this form is to determine dietary requirements for the catering company. If not alerted to these prior to the deadline, it will be difficult to meet these on the day for the food offerings that will be available. Names aren't a large concern until much closer to the event, however it is still beneficial to get these in with dietaries as they go hand in hand.
