National Country Championship nominations are now open

The Australian Country Championships return to Victoria in 2026 with both women's & men's divisions scheduled to contest the event in Bendigo, August 8-15.
Hockey Victoria calls on our regional talent to "have a go" and nominate today. Trials will take place over successive weeks, on May 24th and May 31st at the State Sports Centre, Parkville.
In 2025 our teams made the trek to Rockhampton, but unfortunately fell just short of the medals. Newly appointed Vic Rep Coordinator, Mark Bridge is enthusiastic about an improved result, "we're hopeful that the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd at the fantastic Bendigo HC will encourage Victoria's best regional talent to step forward and nominate for selection. Getting back up into the medals is absolutely a priority".
