Hockey Victoria Welcomes David Wansbrough to Hockey Australia Board

Hockey Victoria would like to congratulate and welcome David Wansbrough for his successful appointment to the Hockey Australia Board. David Wansbrough will be joining an already impressive HA Board that includes Victoria's own Craig Roberts; Roberts will also be remaining on the board. 

David shares an important passion about addressing challenges and opportunities found within Hockey across Australia with the endeavour of growing the sport across the Australian landscape. With a strong connection to the hockey community, David is set to bring his knowledge and skills into the commercial realm to promote extensive growth to our beloved sport.

David’s appointment was made necessary when former Board Member Brent Clark resigned from Hockey Australia, after five years on the Board, to accept the position as CEO of Hockey ACT. Hockey Victoria congratulates Brent on this new and exciting step in his career on his next adventure in the bush capital. David was appointed to the board effective 30 July 2026 and will play a crucial role until at least the Hockey Australia Annual General Meeting in May of 2027.
