Hockey Victoria partners with Vic Health to amplify UNCLOUD Campaign
Published Mon 15 Sep 2025

Hockey Victoria has partnered with VicHealth to amplify the UNCLOUD campaign across a range of our Events and Hockey Club Melbourne match days over the next two years.
VicHealth is joining forces with elite sporting bodies, universities and Quit Victoria to deliver localised vaping and other nicotine-related prevention activities through UNCLOUD, a peer-to-peer platform that connects young people to see vaping for what it really is.
To see change across Victoria, the collective impact approach brings key partners together to work towards a united goal of empowering our young people to say no to vaping and reduce the harms of vaping for young people throughout Victoria.
UNCLOUD is amplifying the voices of young people to warn others about the harms of vaping. Built from research and youth-led messaging, UNCLOUD has been proven to change social norms and increase confidence amongst young people. This initiative is funded by VicHealth and supported through a strategic partnership with Quit Victoria, providing an evidence-based approach to tackle youth vaping.
At Events such as the Junior & Senior Country Championships, Junior State Championships and HC Melbourne home match days, attendees will witness aspects of our anti-vaping campaign. This initiative will feature various activations on social media, website, signage in the venuesand competitions to win prizes. Theseactivities are a key component of our community engagement efforts.
We hope that by amplifying the UNCLOUD campaign, Hockey Victoria members and our supporters can continue the conversations about the harms of vaping both beside the hockey pitch, but also away from it!
