Footscray lauded for their Hookin2Hockey Program

FHC kicked off the year with a bang, running three "come and try" sessions that attracted over 150 participants giving hockey a go for the first time. They have since successfully retained all 50+ new Hookin2Hockey (H2H) participants, who have seamlessly transitioned into their winter programs and introduced a mammoth 95 new Hookin2Hockey participants across the year. 

The club's dedication to junior growth is clear, fielding an impressive 7 teams in the U8 program and 5 teams in the U10 program within the Western Region Hockey Hub. 

This incredible success is powered by over 50 dedicated volunteers, from coaches and managers to umpires and supporters, who work tirelessly to create a vibrant and welcoming community. They are the heart of the club's success, ensuring that young players not only learn the game but also develop a lifelong love for it.
