EOI Open for Awards and Recognition Subcommittee

Hockey Victoria (HV) are excited to open expressions of interest for community members to join the HV Recognition and Awards Subcommittee in 2026.
The Recognition and Awards Subcommittee is appointed by the HV Board and assists in identifying appropriate candidates for Award of Merit, Life Membership of HV and other special awards where it sees fit.
In addition to this, the Subcommittee supports the identification of Hockey Australia Formal Recognition Award Nominations, Order of Australia Awards, assessment of Official Lapel Pin Service recognition, and supports the maintenance and growth of the HV archive material.
The Recognition and Awards Subcommittee is looking to introduce two new independent community members in 2026 and beyond to support the recognition areas of the sport moving forward. The Subcommittee is supported by one (1) HV Director and a HV Management Staff Member.
The Subcommittee meets at least four (4) times per year or as often as is required. These meetings are online over video and teleconference to help navigate around the schedules of all Subcommittee members.
