HOCKEY VICTORIA PARTICIPATION OFFICERS
We are seeking Participation Officers to work in schools throughout 2025 across several programs:
- Schools Roadshow (Term 1 and Term 2): Participation Officers will introduce students to hockey in a fun and safe environment and encourage students to join the local Hookin2Hockey program
- Sporting Schools: Officers will deliver a series of Hockey clinics to a class of primary school students, either during school hours or after school, for a minimum of 4 weeks
- Access All Abilities: Officers will deliver clinics in Specialist schools and may assist with Interschool competitions
- HockeyOne game day opportunities
Our POs are often the first contact young people have with hockey and are pivotal to the sport's growth around Victoria. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people with excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging juniors. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience and network in the sports or education industry while being flexible around your schedule.
No prior hockey experience is required. The role includes complete training and opportunities for further education in the junior participation space year-round.

Vic League 1 Coaching opportunities — Casey Cannons Hockey Club
Casey Cannons Hockey Club invites applications for the position of Head Coach, Vic League 1 in 2027.

With dedicated coaches, passionate members, and a supportive environment, the Cannons are building something special, more than just a hockey team, it’s a place where players and families feel they truly belong.
The Opportunity
The Head Coach will lead our hockey program, establish high-level playing standards, and foster an inclusive, supportive team environment with a strong focus on developing emerging talent This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing group of players.
Remuneration is available and dependant on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver a pre-season training program for the Unit
• Deliver two training sessions per week
• Deliver match-day coaching and implement game plans
· Lead and collaborate with the Unit coaches (Reserves/Pen/Metro) to ensure a clear development pathway for players within the Unit
· Conduct match review, video analysis, and provide performance evaluation and helpful feedback to players
· Implement consistent selection standards and support player development
· Liaise with Unit Coordinator and support broader Unit/Club initiatives
About you
· Demonstrated success coaching senior teams (or high-level playing experience with coaching credentials)
· Highly developed leadership and communication skills
· Eager to contribute to our inclusive culture
· Hockey Australia coaching accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
· Current Working with Children Check
