INDOOR HOCKEY - Fast Track Development Sessions
U18 TRIAL

Hockey Victoria is excited to announce the extension of its Indoor Hockey 'Fast Track' Development sessions, with the inclusion of an U18 program for 2026.

Guided by former Australian Men's Indoor Head Coach, Steve Willer, the program seeks to accelerate the development of our young indoor hockey enthusiasts in the lead up to term 4 indoor season, along with our state trials in October.

NOTE - Whilst this is categorised as an U18 program, there is no U16 program, so younger athletes welcome to trial.

The sessions will be capped at:

• U18 MEN - 20 Field Players + 4 Goal Keepers
• U18 WOMEN - 20 Field Players + 4 Goal Keepers

To select the 48 athletes, we will conduct a ONE OFF trial or selection session.

The TRIAL will be in the form of matchplay and will be for ONE session only.

  • Monday July 27, (5:30pm - 7:30pm)
  • SNHC , Parkville (Indoor Arena)
  • Nomination Fee = $20
  • AGE Eligibility = born on or after January 1, 2008.
  • Please arrive 15min prior & bring both a WHITE & BLACK shirt.
• U18 MENS TRIAL
  • Monday July 27, (7:30pm - 9:30pm)
  • SNHC, Parkville (Indoor Arena)
  • Nomination Fee = $20
  • AGE Eligibility = born on or after January 1, 2008.
  • Please arrive 15min prior & bring both a WHITE & BLACK shirt.

From the above trial we will select 20 Field Players & 4 Goal Keepers who will participate in our INDOOR FAST TRACK DEVELOPEMNT PROGRAM (U18):

• 6 x 120min sessions
• Cost = $225

NOTE:

• This is a ONE-OFF trial.
  • Places are limited for both nominations (42+6) & the final successful 20+4
• There will be no exemptions from trialling
• There will be no post trial feedback for non-selected athletes
