Why This Forum Is Being Held
On the back of changes made to the Mid-week competitions for the 2026 season we are inviting clubs to attend a
forum to discuss any challenges that may have arisen and work together to find appropriate solutions.
We recognise that any change will have impact on members but note that the changes have been made to provide
broader opportunities across the community.
Date: Thursday 26 February 2026
Time: 7pm-9pm
Location: Hockey Olympians Room
The forum will cover the following key items:
• Current age groups
• Age eligibility
• Grading processes and challenges
• Where are the opportunities for new offerings?
We are requesting that clubs have an appropriate delegate/s in attendance for the sections they compete in.
The delegates should be fully informed and be able to present a club’s position on challenges and opportunities in
line with the agenda items.
