The Hockey Victoria GK and GK Specialised Skills Development Program is set to run across four Sundays in April/May/June. The sessions will be 1.5 hours each starting at 8:00am.

o    8:00am – 9:30am – U16 goalkeepers, goalscorers 
o    9:30am – 11:00am – 16+ goalkeepers, goalscorers

-    Sunday 5th May

o    8:00am – 9:30am – U16 goalkeepers, goalscorers 
o    9:30am – 11:00am – 16+ goalkeepers, goalscorers

-    Sunday 26th May
o    8:00am – 9:30am – U16 goalkeepers, goalscorers 
o    9:30am – 11:00am – 16+ goalkeepers, goalscorers

-    Sunday 2nd of June

o    8:00am – 9:30am – U16 goalkeepers, goalscorers 
o    9:30am – 11:00am – 16+ goalkeepers, goalscorers

Goalkeepers - Registrations are now open for U16 and 16+ goalkeepers

16+:  We do ask that all Goalkeepers wishing to attend the program have at least participated in previous High Performance Academy Programs, Represented Victoria in a National Championship, have been selected to participate in the Junior State Championship OR have experience on VL1, PL, PLR or U18 playing experience. 

U16: We do ask that all Goalkeepers wishing to attend the program have at least participated in previous High Performance Academy Programs, Represented Victoria in a National Championship and\or been selected to participate in the Junior State Championship as this is not an entry level program. Junior Goalkeepers need to be at least 10.5 years of age, if you are younger that 10.5 and feel you are up to the program, please get in contact with us first before registering.

The program will involve a range of skills consisting of, aerial saves, kicking drills, footwork and circle movement, close range saves, diving and sliding, defending penalty corners. 

Goalkeepers will be coached by our Hockey Victoria Academy Goalkeeper Coaches, Emerging Goalkeeper Coaches, many of which are current or former Victorian representatives at U21 or Hockey One level and have coached in numerous Hockey Victoria High Performance program.

Goalscorers - Registrations are now open for U16 and 16+ field players

16+: We do ask that all field players wishing to attend the program have at least participated in previous High Performance Academy Programs, Represented Victoria in a National Championship and\or been selected to participate in 2023 Junior State Championship OR have experience on VL1, PL, PLR or U18 playing experience.

The program will involve a range of goalscoring skills consisting of a variety of shots (forehand, backhand, deflections, first touch, areal) in different areas of the circle.

Players will be coached by our Hockey Victoria Academy Coaches, Emerging Coaches, many of which are current or former Victorian representatives at U21 or Hockey One level and have coached in numerous Hockey Victoria High Performance programs.
