Draft Camp is a selection event for our Hockey Victoria U18 Academy (2023).

The Draft Camp program combines intensive skill development in small groups, modified games and match play. It provides athletes with the opportunity to improve their skills and techniques under the guidance of our high performance coaches as well as be assessed to potentially gain selection into the Hockey Victoria Academy Program. 

Draft Camp is our Academy selection event for those athletes who HAVE NOT satisfied the selection criteria for automatic entry.

U18 GIRLS: Saturday 25th February 2023
U18 BOYS: Saturday 4th March 2023

TIME SLOTS 
Saturday 25th February 2023
U18 Girls Group 1:  8am-11am
U18 Girls Group 2:  12pm-3pm

Saturday 4th March
U18 Boys Group 1:  8am-11pm
U18 Boys Group 2:  12pm-3pm

LOCATION 
Melbourne Sports Centres, 10 Brens Drive, Parkville 3052

ARRIVAL  
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the event to enable time to check-in

AGE ELIGIBILITY
The athlete is 18 years or under on the 31st of December 11:59pm, 2023.  Therefore, if the athlete is turning 19 in 2023, they are ineligible for this event.
