2024 Hockey Victoria Registration FAQ's

Hockey Victoria registration accommodates players, officials, and non-playing members. We provide flexible options for those unable to commit to a full season. Explore registration types at Hockey Victoria Get Involved.

All 2024 Hockey Victoria Registrations (excluding Hookin2Hockey and 2024 HV Indoor) are annual and valid from the registration date until 31 December 2024.

If your Club accepts online payments, you can pay online. Check with your Club Administrator. Club fees are visible in your Club's subscription portal. For assistance, contact your club directly.

If you played hockey in Victoria without transferring clubs, you are a renewing member. Follow instructions on the Portal Home Page. For transfers or if not played since 2019, register as a new member.

To register for multiple clubs (i.e., a dual registration) in HV Outdoor, Club or Association Competitions and programs, select and register/renew with your primary club. Once completed, visit the registration page of your second club, select the age registration fee relevant to you, when you enter the payment phase, the HV fee will waive to $0.00. Complete the registration.

Note: if you are a dual registering into another club, select the same Full Membership option you registered for with your primary club. E.g., you registered for an Adult HV Registration Member (19 & Over) for your primary club, select the same full year option when renewing into your secondary club. This will correctly apply the HV/HA discount/deduction to your levy.

If you follow the Game Membership option when dual registering, you will be charged again. The flexible game option is not transferable across clubs.

Contact your new Club to begin the transfer process. Members must ensure that the transfer has been processed prior to playing your first match.

Please do not create duplicate accounts. Records must be moved from your current club to your new club.

Unfortunately, in some circumstances where a double payment of HV Membership has occurred, HV may be unable to provide refunds.

For more information on transfers, visit the Transfer Section.

Hockey Victoria Affiliated Club/Association Hockey Activities

HV recognise that there may be unexpected events that mean that a member who has registered to participate in hockey activities (i.e. competitions and/or programs) may not be able to do so. HV will only offer full refunds of applicable HV levies to those members who can provide evidence to the satisfaction of HV that one of the below listed scenarios applies to them.

Individuals who complete an online registration, including a payment of HV Individual Registration levy, via the applicable registration system will become a financial member for the current year. A member may only be eligible for a full refund of the Hockey Victoria (HV) levy if they have not taken to the field in a structured, HV administered competitive game or Club delivered hockey activities in the current season and there is a valid reason as to why they cannot participate after registering in that current year. A valid reason could be one of the below:
