U18 Draft Camp Nominations 2023 now open

Draft Camp (Academy Selection) is a one day development program available to anyone who has not satisfied the selection criteria for automatic entry into the Hockey Victoria Academy.

The Hockey Victoria High Performance Department runs three separate Draft Camps (U13, U15, U18) throughout the year with the aim to have them scheduled in line with National Tournament so the Athletes have the best possible preparation.

Age eligibility: The athlete is 18 years or under on the 31st of December 11:59pm, 2023. Therefore, if the athlete is turning 19 in 2023 then they are ineligible for this event. If you are unsure, please contact us before registering.

The numbers selected from Draft Camp will be dependent on the numbers of athletes who have accepted their position in the Hockey Victoria Academy from the automatic selection process.

Dates:

• U18 GIRLS: Saturday 25th February 2023
• U18 BOYS: Saturday 4th March 2023

Time slots:

• Saturday 25th February 
  U18 Girls Group 1: 8am-11am
  U18 Girls Group 2: 12pm-3pm

• Saturday 4th March
  U18 Boys Group 1: 8am-11pm
  U18 Boys Group 2: 12pm-3pm
