COVID-19 Update 5.08.21

Today, the Premier announced that Victoria will go into a 7-day lockdown from tonight, meaning there are only five reasons to leave home from 8:00pm on Thursday 5 of August 2021.
This means that, among all other restrictions, all community Hockey activities in Victoria must be suspended from 8:00pm tonight until the State Government advises otherwise. Hockey Voctoria suggests that all training sessions for tonight are cancelled, irrespective of when they are meant to start.
We will work through our plans on how to manage the remaining rounds of the Metropolitan Winter Competition. These plans will be communicated to the affiliates at the earliest possible opportunity.
