2021 Junior Country Championships Preview

It is fantastic to have the Junior Country Championships back this weekend after it could not take place last year. 

There will be over 40 teams with more than 550 players converging on Melbourne to compete in the Event. The Under 13 Boys & Girls will be at Essendon Hockey Centre, Under 15 Boys & Girls will be at Greensborough Hockey Centre and Under 18 Boys & Girls will be at Footscray Hockey Centre.

COVIDSafe Information

If you are attending the Junior Country Championships this weekend, it is important that you are aware of and abide by the COVIDSafe measures in place at each venue.

The key points are:

• Everyone attending must checkin using the QR code at the venues
• If you have symptoms or are feeling unwell, please stay at home and get tested
• Frequently sanitise your hands – there will be plenty of hand sanitiser available
• Maintain 1.5m distance between yourself and all other people

Live Streaming

We are delighted to be able to live stream some of the JCC for the first time.

On Sunday 16^th May, all of the matches that are played on Pitch 1 at all three of the venues will be livestreamed.

Current Subscription costs are $1 a week for the first 12 weeks. 

Officials

Good luck to our team of officials that will be involved in the 2021 Junior Country Championships. We will have approximately 50 umpires across the three venues and a team of Tournament Directors and Umpires Managers making sure everything runs smoothly and they are as follows:
