Sportscover has again been appointed by HV as the official insurer and continue as a key sponsor of Victorian hockey. Worldwide Sports Insurance also continue as our Broker.
All Affiliates are now required to access a new ON-LINE ELECTRONIC system to purchase and manage their insurance requirements.
The new electronic on-line system will allow all affiliates to register their teams for insurance, upgrade club, team and player cover, view current levels of cover, request and print Certificates of Currency, and register claims.
Clubs seeking higher benefits (for teams and/or individual members) will be able to secure additional cover. The on-line system is able to provide quotes on the additional cost and accept payment for the additional "top up" cover online.
After an affiliate has finalised their purchases, the system will be available for individual members of that affiliate to increase their policy benefits by purchasing extra cover online.
Hockey Victoria in conjunction with Worldwide Sports Insurance Brokers, and Sportscover Australia (the Insurer), are pleased to provide further information on accessing the Online Electronic System in the pdf document attached below.
Clubs and Members who wish to access the system, may seek instructions on the procedure from the friendly staff of Worldwide Insurance Brokers (03 9862 6500).

Public Liability $10 Million
Products Liability $10 Million
Professional Indemnity $2 Million
Indemnifies the insured against claims for compensation for breach of professional duty by reason of any negligence by way of act, error or omission.
Directors & Officers Liability $5 Million
Indemnifies the Directors, Administrators, Committee members and other officers of the club against wrongful acts, which includes breach of trust, breach of duty, neglect, error and omission, committed in their respective capacities within the club.
Personal Accident Benefits:
$75,000 max Disablement & Death (Under 18s $10,000)
$2,000 Funeral
$4,000 80% of Non Medicare expenses
$500 max per week Loss of Income 52 weeks 14 day excess
$300 max per week Home Help Allowance 52 weeks 7 day excess
$200 max per week Student Assistance 52 weeks 7 days excess
$50 Daily max Parents Allowance 1 day excess
