The bulk of Hockey Victoria's competitions run between April and September and cater to approximately 82 divisions.
Hockey Victoria's winter season is divided into three age groups; Overage, Open Age and Underage.
In 2008 the following number of divisions took part:
Overage:
10 Grades for Men
2 Grades for Women
Openage
23 Grades for Men
10 Grades for Women
Underage
23 Mixed/Boys
8 Girls
