Fixtures for the 2009-10 Summer Outdoor Season will be available on HockeyNet prior to beginning of the season.

Please note - results must be entered by no later than 11.00am on the third business day after the match. Teamsheets must be completed and retained by the team manager - NOT sent to Hockey Victoria.

Heat Policy (Day Matches Only)
In the event of extreme temperatures being forecast the following process shall apply:
1. Any cancellation of a match or round of matches will be advised to all teams by notification via a news item on the HV website. The notification will be place on the website by 10.30am on the day of the match/es.
2. Matches will be cancelled if the expected temperature is predicted to exceed 36șC.
3. The above process will occur for all weekend daytime matches. It is not envisaged that the above excessive temperatures will be an issue for summer evening matches.
4. It is the responsibility of each team and HV rostered umpire to check the HV website for the "Temperature Alert".
5. The official Bureau of Meteorology website will be used as HV's reference for the temperature forecast.
Please Note: However, it should also be noted by players, team managers and umpires that in cases where there is no general cancellation of a fixture, that should the conditions at a particular venue or at a particular time of day be considered to be excessively hot or potentially dangerous, then teams and/or umpires may reach an agreement to modify or shorten the match or agree to cancel the match entirely and record a 0-0 draw.
UMPIRING:
The Umpire will be available on this page prior to the beginning of the season.
Umpire Fees for Summer Outdoor: All competitions: $25 per umpire.
Where HV Umpires are NOT appointed (or fail to attend):
One HV umpire provided: If one umpire is provided it is then the responsibility of the first named team to provide an umpire for the duration of that match.
No HV umpires provided: If no umpires are provided it is then the responsibility of each team to provide an umpire for the duration of the match.
Hockey Victoria encourages clubs to assist each other when rostered umpires are absent however the ultimate responsibility is as per the above rules.
