TRIAL CONTACTS AND INFORMATION
Model:
• 3 day tournament boys and girls, together.
• Minimal training leading into a short, quality program
• Talent squad selected from Championship
• Motivation for players ending juniors to keep playing
Under 17 ZONE TRAILS:
Sunday 22nd & 29th August 2010- conducted in your zone
Who:
Under 17 Boys and Girls Representative teams from 6 metropolitan and 4 country zones
Players must be Under 17 on January 1st 2010 to be eligible to nominate
Zone Trainings:
Teams of 16 boys and 16 girls will be selected at these trials to represent their zone at the Under 17 State Championships.
Training requirements for Under 17 zone teams will be conducted over a 2-3 day training camp in the week prior to the Under 17 Junior State Championships, with the aim of the program being a short, quality program
Under 17 Junior State Championship Times and Dates:
Matches will be conducted between:
8.30am-10.00pm Friday 1st-3rd October
Under 17 Junior State Championship Venue:
State Netball Hockey Centre (SNHC)
10 Brens Drive, Parkville
State Squad Selections:
From the championships a talent squad will be selected who will be invited to attend training sessions conducted by elite coaches 22nd-23rd January 2010, in preparation for the Under 18 state trials in January - February 2010.
