Hockey Victoria (HV) continues to experience a great period of change and the HV Board and Staff are committed to engaging with all affiliates to provide updates on the organisational changes that have already been implemented over the past twelve months.
As part of engaging with all affiliates we will also share with you some of the proposed changes going forward and highlight the challenges.
We would like to invite you to attend a Presidents’ Meeting so that the Hockey Victoria Board and Staff can update you on a few of the key initiatives.
The details of the Meeting are as follows:
Date: Wednesday 28th April 2010
Venue: State Netball Hockey Centre, Olympians Room
Time: 6.30pm arrival for 7.00pm start. The Meeting is expected to conclude at 9.00pm

We have chosen four broad topics as set out below to stimulate discussion but we are also seeking your views on other topics that you see as important to you and perhaps the sport in general.
The broad topics to be discussed are:
• Hockey Victoria’s Development Strategy: Status Report
• Competition Review
• HockeyNet
• Club Development
• Junior Participation
• The Year of the Official
• General Discussion
We would be pleased to consider any other broad issue that you may have.
As per previous Presidents’ Meetings, the intention is to focus on matters other than detailed administrative or competition issues for which more specific mechanisms exist and consequently we ask for your attendance and in your absence only someone whom you believe can adequately address the higher level issues.
Notes emanating from these meetings will be circulated to all the affiliates.
