Hamish and Andy drew a large crowd at MCC Hockey Club

Hamish and Andy play hockey

The Hamish and Andy Bi Bi Triathlon was well attended by hockey and Hamish and Andy lovers alike.

They played a match against two MCC teams which had some impressive names.

Including: Ninja Kim aka Kim Byung-Hoon - Former Korean International player
Georgia Nanscawen - Our Youngest Hockeyroo, Hugh Jellie - MCC State League One player and some up and coming juniors like Mitch Hope, Matt Brethoten, Kip Davey and Andy Simons to name a few

Hamish took his position on field as goalie. Being new to this, we allowed him his own personal goalie coach and Mitch Hope did his best to coach Hamish.

After the first few nervous moments where he was seen crawling on the ground, Hamish picked it up and started to make saves that had even the more experienced goalies in awe!

Unfortunately for Hamish his newly learnt skills weren't good enough to save him for the 130Km plus drag flick from International Korean Ninja Kim.....Hamish just didn't see it coming...

Andy on the other hand is no stranger to the game having played club hockey in his younger years.

He didn't even break up a sweat as he scored a very impressive field goal against MCC's very experienced goalie Bucky.

What was even more impressive was the stroke that Andy managed to score against Bucky. He must have got some tips from Korean Kim. Perhaps Andy could be the new poster boy for Hockey!

Thanks to Hockey Victoria and Just Hockey, Hamish & Andy were presented with some giant hockey sticks signed by both teams.
