2010 Casey Cannons Shootout Cup

Join us for our 4th annual Shootout Cup, this year with a new format! A one day tournament this year played on quarter pitch size, 5 aside (with a maximum of 8 players per team).
All games will be for 20 minute and play will be continuous thanks to there being no ‘out of bounds’. Ice hockey nets will be the goals but there
will be no goalie and play will continue around the back & sides of the goals.
It will be a fast paced day all accompanied by competitions, massage stall and licensed bar and clubroom facilities (strictly NO BYO).
When: Saturday 13th March 2010, start 10am finishing with a spit roast at 6pm
along with prize giving

COMPETITION DETAILSPlaying on a quarter pitch size, matches will be 20 minutes each for 5 aside teams.
Play will not stop and start as there will be no out of bounds, with the pitch edges acting like indoor hockey boards.
Goals will be and act like that in ice hockey with play around and behind them – but you’ll not have a goalie!
It will be fast and furious with maximum time on the pitch and minimum on the sidelines!

Enrol in either the Men’s, Women’s or Mixed competition*
Maximum of 8 players per team with 5 on the pitch at any one time
Competition starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm with prizes and a spit roast
Entry cost is $180 per team including 8 meal vouchers for the evening spit roast
Skill competitions, sports massage & children’s’ entertainment also on offer during the day
*please note, all players must be over 16 years of age
