Hockey Victoria is pleased to inform all affiliates that the State Government's Our Clubs, Our Future - Sporting Uniform Grants Program ROUND 3 is now open for applications from clubs and associations.
The Minister for Sport and Recreation, the Hon James Merlino MP, recently announced the $1.65m program which will enable local hockey clubs, particularly those from disadvantaged areas, to access up to $1,000 for the purchase of essential uniform clothing and footwear.
The Victorian Government recognises the financial difficulties that many clubs face in providing uniforms as well as the huge contribution of local sporting clubs to shaping a positive identity for our towns and communities.
Funding guidelines and the application form are available from the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) website www.grants.dpcd.vic.gov.au
Alternatively hard copies of the guidelines can be obtained by contacting DPCD Grants Information Line on 1300 366 356. Eligible organisations can apply online at the DPCD website.
